Do education, urbanization, and green growth promote life expectancy?

Education (EDU) enhances life expectancy (LEF) by improving health literacy and access to healthcare, leading healthier lifestyles. Urbanization (URB) fosters better healthcare infrastructure essential services, although it must be managed avoid negative environmental impacts. Green growth (GG) ensures sustainable development, reduces pollution risks, contributes longer, lives. Therefore, this study examines the impact of EDU, URB GG on LEF in China from 1990 2022. This utilizes unit root, cointegration test, Auto Regressive distributed lag (ARDL) model, for robustness analysis, we use Fully modified ordinary least squares (FMOLS) Dynamic methods. The results show that education, urbanization green have a positive significant effect expectancy, while C02 emissions negatively affect expectancy. These findings suggest more resources should allocated public education systems ensure quality early childhood through higher integrate comprehensive into school curricula raise awareness about healthy lifestyles, nutrition, disease prevention. Promote intelligent urban planning incorporating spaces, recreational areas, safe walkways encourage physical activity reduce pollution. significantly contribute economics provide new avenue research academic community policymakers.
