Summary
Arbuscular
mycorrhizal
fungi
(AMF)
are
important

plant

Twenty‐five
years
ago,
researchers
discovered
‘glomalin’,
a
component
potentially
produced
by
AMF,
which
was
unconventionally
extracted
from
bound
monoclonal
antibody
raised
against
Rhizophagus
irregularis
spores.

can
resist
boiling,
strong
acids

treatment.

that
‘glomalin’
