A consumption-driven economy refers to an economic growth model primarily driven by domestic consumption and is a common goal for the of various countries. To explore impact industrial digitalization on economy, this paper conducts empirical study based data from 31 provinces in China 2013 2021. The test results indicate: first, significantly promotes development mainly reflected improvement foundation levels, but shows no significant effect improving structure. Second, mechanism analysis show that can promote fostering innovation advancing Third, heterogeneity reveal promotion exists only eastern central not western China, indicating underdeveloped areas cannot exert positive economy.

Digitalization optimizes production processes by promoting information sharing and collaborative operations, thereby enhancing resource allocation efficiency significantly improving efficiency. Based on a review of the literature enterprise digital transformation regional GTFP, this study employed panel data model to analyze impact digitalization GTFP from microeconomic perspective. After conducting robustness endogeneity tests, we further examined mechanisms through which influences explored heterogeneity these effects. Using China’s provinces 2007 2022, arrived at following conclusions: (1) Despite tendency for enterprises make contingent decisions in process, fundamentally has significant positive as confirmed tests. (2) The operates moderating effect, where green patents, environmental regulations, an advanced industrial structure positively reinforce effect. (3) effect exhibits heterogeneity, with most pronounced being western China followed eastern region, while central region is not statistically significant.
