Abstract Background Head-mounted displays can be used to offer personalized immersive virtual reality (IVR) training for patients who have suffered an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) by tailoring the complexity of visual and auditory stimuli patient’s cognitive capabilities. However, it is still open question how these environments should designed. Methods We a human-centered design approach help define characteristics suitable ABI patients. conducted (i) observations, (ii) interviews with eleven neurorehabilitation experts, (iii) online questionnaire 24 experts examine therapists modify current promote patients’ recovery in conventional sensorimotor settings. Visual conditions significantly influence fear of movement (FOM), which is a condition that impairs postural control and quality life (QOL). This study examined how visual sway velocity during repeated one-leg standing tasks explored the potential relationship between control, FOM, QOL in older adults with without FOM. Background: Physical activity (PA) plays a crucial role in improving the quality of life (QoL) older people, particularly by enhancing their balance and movement coordination. Objective: This study aimed to assess effects sensorimotor training intervention adults. Background Cognitive-motor training in form of exergames has been found to be feasible and effective for the improvement motor cognitive functioning older adults several patient populations. Exergame under unstable conditions might increase proprioceptive resources needed thus a superior approach compared exergame on stable ground stroke patients, who often have deficits. Objective Aim this study is assess feasibility effects exergame-based cognitive-motor labile platform physical inpatients. Methods This two-armed pilot randomized controlled trial taking place an inpatient neurologic rehabilitation clinic. A total 30 persons that are undergoing due will randomly assigned either intervention group (IG) or control (CG).
