Background: This series investigates the efficacy of regenerative endodontic therapy (RET) using various platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) formulations in treating apical periodontitis and necrotic pulp immature permanent teeth. Aim: study aims to evaluate effectiveness different PRF RET. Materials Methods: Three cases involving patients aged 15–16 with teeth were treated RET PRF, injectable advanced PRF. The procedure included inducing bleeding a Hedstrom file, applying variants, sealing mineral trioxide aggregate composite resin. Patients followed up at 1, 3, 6, 12 18 months. Results: Radiographic evidence showed closure, root maturation, healing periapical tissues all cases. However, sensibility tests negative. Conclusion: variants promotes development Further research larger sample sizes is needed understand these therapies’ potential limitations.

This review was performed to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of pulse oximetry (PO) in patients with apical periodontitis (AP) or undergoing an endodontic treatment. Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis-Diagnostic Test Accuracy (PRISMA-DTA) checklist followed carry out this review. The potential pulp vitality status studied through databases like PubMed, Google Scholar, EBSCOhost from 2000 2024. Extraction manual calculation true-positive, false-positive, true-negative, false-negative, sensitivity, specificity values were done. Quality assessment studies (QUADAS)-2 tool RevMan ver. 5.3 qualitatively assessed included studies. seven evaluated 654 teeth reported a low risk bias (ROB). reliability, efficacy, ability PO compared it other conventional sensitivity tests cold test, thermal electric test (EPT), spray, rubber cups. Its overall ranged 81-100% (mean 95%) 94-100% 99%). It concluded that is more reliable, superior, effective has efficacy detecting target condition modalities.

Performing endodontic treatment on a tooth with an immature apex can be challenging due to the risk of irrigant extrusion beyond apex. This narrative review investigates over-apex activated irrigants in teeth open and apices aims provide crucial insights for practice research. Two hundred fifty-two results were found from electronic search. Sixteen duplicates removed before selection, 24 excluded. Of 212 remaining results, full text was evaluated eligibility. One ninety-four excluded: one sixty-five, activation not performed; twenty-nine animal studies; seven, performed disinfect canal. Finally, 13 studies included. They cover range topics, types used techniques activation, their findings contribute our understanding risks consequences extrusion. All investigated can, varying degrees, cause extrude Extrusion may always clinically relevant; however, excessive leakage are dangerous, so try assess all variables that it adopt reduce it.
