Introduction Addressing emerging infectious diseases is a major task in public health. This study investigated the factors influencing perception of risk related to COVID-19. Methods analyzed data from 2020 Social Survey conducted nationwide South Korea, targeting 34,909 individuals aged 13 years and older. Using an ordered logit regression model, we examined relationship between COVID-19 its predictors across age groups (20–44 years, 45–64 65 older) gender groups. The included analysis model were demographic factors, socioeconomic health quality life levels social trust, climate change factors. Results results demonstrated that was higher among older women compared with men. The staff of health and dentistry schools can play an important role in encouraging students their clients to adopt preventive behaviors. aim this study was compare health-promoting behaviors dental Ardabil University Medical Sciences (ARUMS).This cross-sectional descriptive-analytical conducted 2021. research population schools. Staff sampling by census were sampled simple random sampling. data collection tool a questionnaire whose validity reliability had been confirmed previous studies. Data analysis performed using descriptive analytical statistics tests SPSS version 20 software. Linear regression stepwise method.The results showed that the mean score individuals 99.2 ± 20.24. In leveling, 33 people (17.55%) appropriate, desirable good, behaviors, 154 (82.45%), moderate low. correlation between age, gender, marital status, workplace with not statistically significant (P > 0.05). output variables could predict scores behaviors.Health-promoting <20% are desirable, more than 80% them poor. This study aimed develop validate Health Care Workers' Concerns in Infectious Outbreaks Scale (HCWCIOS).This exploratory sequential mix-method was employed design the HCWCIOS. The initial tool designed after searching similar studies performing qualitative phase under semi-structured approach. Both quantitative methods were used evaluate face content validity. validity ratio, index, item-level index also calculated. Exploratory factor analysis construct Using convenient sampling method, 354 Iranian healthcare participated study. Computing Cronbach's alpha coefficient estimated internal consistency HCWCIOS its subscales. Furthermore assessed test-retest reliability.The preliminary scale with 57 items. By eliminating nine items 12 during analysis, final 36-item developed on six factors: inadequate preparedness, lack of knowledge, risk perception, affected social relations, work pressure, absenteeism. These factors accounted 46.507% total variance. whole scale's 0.912, intra-class correlation 0.88.A has good psychometric properties suitable measuring workers' pandemic.

Since the inception of Public Service Motivation (PSM) by Perry and Wise, substantial research has been conducted in this domain. However, there is a dearth scholarly investigation into impact changing public service environments, specifically perception workplace risk, on motivation. Recent health crises, such as COVID-19 pandemic, have necessitated significant changes frontline employees’ work environments. As they frequently engage epidemic prevention control activities, which entail direct exposure to virus, their motivation may fluctuate based perceived risks. Female employees, particular, facing dual pressures family responsibilities, are more prone being affected. Drawing upon human behavioral Stress-Strain-Outcome framework, study examines influence mechanism risk among 214 female employees who participated during 2022 lockdown period Shanghai. findings indicate, detrimentally affects both directly indirectly through emotional exhaustion or anxiety-emotional mediation, whereas anxiety does not mediate relationship. Objectives: The COVID-19 pandemic exposed healthcare workers to heavy stress and made them vulnerable various types of mental illnesses. This study aims evaluate the psychological effects on health in ward. Methods: was performed during first peak 9-Dey Hospital Torbat Heydarieh Iran, which a total 178 ward participated via census sampling method. In this study, we employed Goldberg general questionnaire along with researcher-made experience exposure disease. Following completion questionnaires, participants’ data were analyzed by SPSS software statistical tests (the Spearman Pearson correlations). Results: Our results showed 91.1%, 77.57%, 87.55%, 87.07%, 56.75%, 74.16% for health, physical symptoms, anxiety sleep disorders, social dysfunction, depression respectively, conditions. significant association between COVID-19, disorders (P<0.05). Discussion: Access counseling psychotherapy systems, rehabilitation, improvement working conditions can effectively enhance resilience promote increase quality care treatment services.
