The architecture of cocoons and the chemical compounds present in play crucial role to provide protection pupae during metamorphosis.Insects spin a silk web as cocoon facilitate ensuring proper inner environment inside metamorphosis.Such are equipped with variety which include antibacterial, antifungal, insecticidal insect repellent etc. Tasar worms wild silkworms grown on forest trees for their commercial value, subject harsh environmental conditions comparison domesticated Bombyx mori worms. In this study antimicrobial were screened from Indian tropical tasar by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), transform-Raman (FT-Raman), Gas chromatography-Mass spectrometry (GC-MS) identified NIST05 MS Library. The possess active alcoholic phenolic compounds, aromatic organic acids, alkaloids, fatty acids derivatives various protective functions. This defence strategy was confirmed evaluating potential methanolic extract Antheraea mylitta (AmCE) against pathogenic bacterial strains Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus fungal Candida albicans, Aspergillus flavus. We concluded bioactive silkworm other than sericin fibroin proteins responsible stability long duration metamorphosis. These involved have been elucidated.

This work evaluated the inhibitory activity of 53 marine bacteria against Vibrio cholerae, a recognized human pathogen.Strains that showed were identified by sequencing 16S rRNA gene and tested for optimal growth at different temperatures. The pathogen was inhibited 19 strains, which as Bacillus pumilus, 30 37°C.This is first study reveals to B. pumilus inhibitor pathogenic strain V. could be in further studies potential use control this pathogen.
