Influence of the Risk for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Social Stigma and Social Support on Quality of Life of COVID-19 Survivors DOI Open Access

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence risk for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD risk), social stigma, and support on quality life COVID-19 survivors.Methods: Data were collected from 180 survivors who discharged hospital September 1 December 31, 2021. Structured questionnaires used assess variables. Collected data analyzed using SPSS/WIN 27.0, with independent t-test, one way analysis variance, Pearson’s correlation, hierarchial multiple regression.Results: Subjects' correlated PTSD (r=-.52, p<.001), stigma (r=-.16, p=.029), (r=.26, p=.001). Factors influencing gender (β=.26, p=.001), occupation (β=-.24, (β=-.48, (β=.19, p=.004), explanatory power approximately 37% (F=14.03, p<.001).Conclusion: This found that in lowered their life, increased life. Therefore, it is necessary develop various intervention programs improve by reducing provide a system.

This study examined the complex associations among coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) risk perception, social distancing, connectedness, and loneliness, as well mediating effects of distancing connectedness in these younger, middle-aged, older Korean adults. The objective of this study was to investigate the trend self-injurious behavior (SIB) among persons who were directly impacted by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), especially those with pre-existing mental disorders.Using National Health Insurance Service-COVID-19 database cohort, monthly SIB rate calculated COVID-19 subgroups (i.e., positive for test, negative and non-COVID-19 test [control]). Psychosocial Factors and Quality of Life in Older Adults Discharged After Isolation Due to COVID-19 Infection DOI

Purpose: To identify the impact of psychosocial factors on quality life (QoL) older adults hospitalized and isolated after contracting coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Method: Data were collected between April 30 June 18, 2022, from 117 discharged who in isolation for COVID-19 treatment a tertiary hospital South Korea. Results: Of participants, 33.3% at high risk posttraumatic stress symptoms (PTSS), 21.4% participants identified as having severe depressive symptoms. Participants' QoL negatively correlated with PTSS, symptoms, fear social stigma.
