AIM: This study aimed to determine the sleep quality and factors affecting in patients admitted internal medicine outpatient clinic. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The was conducted between July 1, 2019, 15, with a face-to-face questionnaire administered who applied clinic of Harran University. A descriptive questionnaire, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) were used study. RESULTS: One-hundred twelve (48.0%) male 121 (51.9%) female mean age 38.5 ± 16.3 years (18–86 years) included total PSQI 4.9 3.0 score range 0–15. rate those poor 48.9%. ESS 5.0 3.6, 12 (30%) experienced excessive sleepiness during day. Gender participants (P = 0.800), income level 0.113), size house they living 0.783), body mass index (BMI) 0.491), comorbid diseases 0.803) did not affect quality; number people same affected < 0.001). It found that high BMI (≥30) had significantly worse than without. decreased as at home decreased. CONCLUSION: We almost half quality. also decreases, deteriorates.

Abstract Aims The aim of this study was to investigate the effects progressive muscle relaxation on sleep quality and fatigue in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods This randomized controlled conducted 72 arthritis who applied rheumatology outpatient clinic a university hospital between January May 2018. data were collected using Patient Information Form, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Fatigue Severity Scale. Purpose: Aim of this study is to examine the relationship between sleep and life rheumatoid arthritis patients factors affecting relationship. Method material: This research a descriptive design study. was conducted in Rheumatology polyclinic university hospital January 2011 June İzmir/Turkey. Simple random sampling method used The data were collected through face-to-face interviews. “Patient Identification Form”, “Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index” “Nottingham Health Profile” scale for collection. Results: In Pittsburg Index, total score average found out be 10.92±4.80. Score averages sub-scales Nottingham Profile as following: Pain= 67.48±26.53, Energy Level=69.55±30.10, Emotional Reaction= 50.78±27.00, Physical Mobility= 50.59±24.40, Social Isolation= 32.50±30.47 Sleep= 59.12± 32.53. Conclusion: line with findings study, it determined that great majority had poor quality well low life. Özet Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı Romatoid Artritli hastalarda uyku ve yaşam kalitesi arasındaki ilişkiyi bu etkileyen faktörleri incelemektir. Yöntem: Araştırma tanımlayıcı tipte bir çalışmadır. Araştırma, Ocak- Haziran tarihleri arasında İzmir/Türkiye’de üniversite hastanesinin Romatoloji polikliniğinde yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada basit randomize örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri yüz yüze görüşme yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Veri toplama için, “Hasta Tanıtım Formu”, “Pittsburgh Uyku Kalitesi İndeksi” Sağlık Profili” kullanıldı. Bulgular: hastaların Pittsburgh İndeksi Toplam Puan Ortalaması; 10.92±4.80 olarak bulundu. Profili alt boyutları puan ortalamaları sırasıyla: Ağrı=67.48±26.53, Enerji Düzeyi=69.55±30.10 Emosyonel Reaksiyon= 50.78±27.00; Fiziksel Hareketlilik= Sosyal İzolasyon= Uyku= 32.53 Sonuç: bulguları doğrultusunda, büyük çoğunluğunun kalitesinin kötü olduğu saptanmıştır.
