This study aims to determine the role of Muhammadiyah Student Association 1 Yogyakarta High School (IPM Muhi) as a forum for regeneration in schools and describe supporting inhibiting factors carrying out its role. research uses case approach with qualitative methods. Data collection techniques through observation interviews. The results showed that Branch SMA has played schools. is realized formal activities non-formal regeneration. are directed 4 main themes concentration, namely; 1) Peers, 2) Ecology, 3) Literacy, 4) Entrepreneur. Supporting school provides support form policies conditioning educators teaching staff participate cadre program at school. fully supports funding IPM Muhi activities. Inhibiting low awareness active participation by students activity program, differences understanding between administrators, administrators who psychologically do not understand their responsibilities becoming administrators.
