Abstract Context The number of young Koreans using antidepressants and antianxiety medications is increasing. Objective Studies evaluating the association between these weight gain are limited. We investigated this among Korean adults. Methods included 792 022 participants aged 19 to 39 years who underwent National Health Insurance Service health examinations more than twice 2009 2019. Multivariable logistic regression analysis was performed evaluate gain. Results participants’ average age body mass index were 29.4 ± 4.7 23.0 3.6, respectively. proportions 10 kg/year or 1.7%; 2.4%; 2.9%; 4.1% in individuals neither nor medications; only antidepressants; both medications, Compared with rate ratios (95% CI) for higher those at 1.77 (1.69-1.85); 2.15 (2.05-2.0); 3.04 (2.91-3.18), Conclusion Using may contribute an increased risk potential should be considered when used prevention needed.

Aims: To evaluate the effectiveness of a dual approach involving time-restricted eating (TRE) at different times day combined with physical activity (PA) on functional capacity and metabolic health in overweight or obese women. Methods: Random allocation sixty-one participants into four groups: early plus (ETRE-PA, n = 15, 31.8 ± 10.76 years, 89.68 13.40 kg, 33.5 5.53 kg/m2), late (LTRE-PA, 30.60 7.94 94.45 15.36 34.37 7.09 only (LTRE, 27.93 9.79 88.32 10.36 32.71 5.15 kg/m2) control group (CG, 36.25 11.52 89.01 11.68 33.66 6.18 kg/m2). The intervention lasted for 12 weeks all groups. Both ETRE-PA LTRE-PA groups engaged rigorous aerobic resistance-training program. Results: Significant reductions body weight mass index were observed compared to CG LTRE post-intervention (p < 0.0005). Only exhibited significant decrease fat 0.02), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol 0.01), aspartate aminotransferase 0.002). alanine levels 0.004) 0.02) These two latter achieved higher performances 6-min walking test, bench press, 30-s squat, crunch vertical jump 0.0005 both), leg extension 0.02 both) when Conclusion: integration TRE PA leads greater improvements composition, lipid profile, performance, no differences between approaches. This strategy offers promising solution

Researchers often report higher metabolic syndrome (MetS) pr\4;evalence among cancer survivors than non-cancer individuals. This study aims to explore the impact of presence, activity type, and dietary lifestyle on MetS in males over 40 years age. Participants (n = 9846; 618 survivors, 9228 non-cancer) were selected by extracting data from a Korean government database spanning 2016 2021. Physical patterns, habits, factors measured, multiple logistic regression analysis was statistically processed for an odds ratio (OR). present 32.8% 28.6% Gastric exhibited 16% lower OR versus participants. The ORs 1.60-, 1.45-, 1.26-fold colorectal, urinary, other cancers, respectively. Cancer with high calorie, carbohydrate, fat intakes 2.01 (95% CI 1.28−4.04), 2.33 1.28−4.54), 1.39 1.05−2.37) compared recommended level. fiber-intake group reduced 20%. In conclusion, prevalence colorectal cancer, urinary while it patients gastric cancer. Survivors low rates eating three meals day, skipping breakfast, increased eating-out rate, no nutritional learning opportunity displayed prevalence. Additionally, who had more strength leisure activities MetS.
