Abstract Adolescent suicide is a critical social issue with profound and lasting individual collective consequences. This umbrella review examines factors associated adolescent suicidal behavior through the socioecological framework of prevention seeks to identify gaps in existing literature. The followed Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines included comprehensive search Web Science, Scopus, Cochrane databases both English Spanish, covering period from 2018 2024, using terms related adolescence behavior. Out 6,138 articles identified, 37 met quality criteria were selected analysis. studies highlighted risk such as age, gender, belonging ethnic or gender minorities, emotional disorders, self-destructive behavior, regulation, experience physical pain. Interpersonal parental relationships, sexual abuse, isolation, peer pressure, loneliness also found. However, revealed worrying lack on societal community paucity research focusing protective factors. study highlights need include environments that influence health future research, well enhance resources strengths adolescents.
