It is imperative that a sustainable transportation system, powered by renewable energy resources, be implemented in order to mitigate the impacts of climate change and enhance living standards. A Wind-Powered Car (WPC) vehicle employs connection between wind turbine blades, thereby leveraging advantages kinetic energy. The then conveyed directly car's wheels via system mechanical connections gears, enabling move without use fossil fuels. absence an internal combustion engine results generation negligible emissions. primary objective this study examine static aerodynamic drag nine WPC designs with diverse blade configurations Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT). To achieve objective, Autodesk Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) was employed model at varying speeds 4 m/s, 6 8 m/s. comparative analysis revealed 8, featuring 3-blade Savonius circular end plate, demonstrated superior efficiency among all car models. This evident its ability generate highest power compared other designs. These findings contribute understanding performance VAWT cars, offering valuable insights for further design optimization. Furthermore, highlight as promising solution transportation, aligned SDG 7 11, through development clean efficient wind-powered vehicles.

The implementation of a decentralized energy system has the potential to improve life quality people who live in remote rural areas with limited or nonexistent power sources. Renewable technologies can be very important production power. main purpose this study is assess Jeje, Nigeria's wind potential, using reanalysis and analysis dataset. To aim, data on speed at height 10 m were gathered from variety sources, including EAR5, EAR5 Ag, Land, CFSR, MERRA-2. Weibull distribution function, commonly employed evaluate was utilized. A maximum density value 15.75 W/m2 obtained when MERRA-2 dataset implemented. results indicate that large-scale turbines are not viable alternative area. Thus, performance six turbines, expressed by output cut ranging between 1 1.5 m/s, investigated. demonstrated AWI-E1000T most efficient turbine under consideration. In addition, it been shown each considered installed area based acquired CFSR.

Multilevel inverters are becoming prevalent due to their remarkable attributes, including ability withstand high voltage shocks and accommodate capacity. As a result, they find extensive applications in grid-connected inverter systems utilizing photovoltaic (PV) panels electric drive for motors. However, power quality is heavily reliant on current controls modulation techniques. Conventional methods typically employ fixed frequency carriers modulation, lacking inherent control signal information. In response this challenge, study proposes novel method multilevel phase-modulated carriers. The findings demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed approach nominal operation, showcasing reduction Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) by 15.92% 48.5% decrease highest individual harmonic amplitude compared conventional using phase opposite disposition. Moreover, switching count also decreased 26.37%.
