(1) Peanut allergy is associated with high risk of anaphylaxis which could be prevented by oral immunotherapy. Patients eligible for immunotherapy are selected on the basis a food challenge, although currently assessment antibodies against main peanut molecules (Ara h 1, 2, 3 and 6) thought to another option. (2) The current study assessed relationship between mentioned antibodies, challenge outcomes, skin tests some other parameters in peanut-sensitized children. It involved 74 children, divided into two groups, based their response challenge. (3) Both groups differed results tests, levels component-specific exposure history. antibody were then used calculate thresholds prediction or symptom severity. While antibody-based revealed statistical significance, it failed cases severe symptoms. Furthermore, no significant correlation was observed levels, symptom-eliciting doses anaphylaxis. Although patients result from interference IgG4, latter would not universal explanation this phenomenon. (4) Despite limitations, screening may an alternative its clinical relevance still requires further studies.
