Abstract Green building (GB) projects in the Middle East face several causes of waste that occur during design and construction stages. These affect objectives GB (economic, environmental, social). Therefore, this research aims to define evaluate effect these on projects. Forty-five are determined classified into five main groups as follows: (G01) green materials, (G02) design, (G03) sustainable site, (G04) technologies, (G05) stakeholders. Through field surveys, including semi-structured interviews brainstorming sessions, probability occurrence for each cause impact economic, social evaluated, well severity is based a combined impacts. The correlations among indices assessed, highest correlation observed between economic followed by objective. results show most significant has value “ Poor assessment site conditions before such topography, hydrology, climate, vegetation, soil .” Group 05 maximum number critical waste, which considered group, due its high values related all objectives. Results indicate objective affected one environmental

Abstract This study explores the role of cellulose paper composition—comprising holocellulose, hemicellulose, cellulose, and lignin—on physical chemical properties eco‐friendly green roof tiles. The investigation focuses on key performance metrics including hardness, water absorption, flammability, thermal stability, overall composition. By incorporating recycled paper, these tiles not only contribute to reducing environmental waste but also support a circular economy in construction industry. results demonstrate that exhibit significant increase hardness (20 HCR units higher than commercial tiles), reduced absorption rate approximately 13%, good ignition resistance up 284 °C, enhancing their durability fire safety. Advanced analytical techniques, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), confirm effective integration fibers within tile matrix, leading homogeneous distribution. Statistical analysis further validates sustainable outperform conventional materials areas. findings emphasize transformative potential composition creating sustainable, high‐performance roofing materials.

This paper examines the impact of greening technology on traditional buildings, addressing lack understanding regarding its effects. Results show that enhances thermal comfort by lowering humidity and temperature. Humidity fell from forty-five percent to twenty-seven forty-eight thirty-three gradually after greening, while temperature decreased 32°C (90°F) 24°C (75°F) 33°C (91°F) 25°C (77°F). These changes highlight greening's potential as a long-term strategy improve climate comfort, offering more comfortable atmosphere in hot humid climates also reducing energy loss, improving quality life these locations.
