Cultural heritage sites play a significant role in shaping urban development, yet their impact on key outcomes remains underexplored. This study investigates how the number and proximity of influence development through an analysis across 371 Chinese cities. Using range metrics, including population density, building height, form complexity, green space accessibility, we find that cities with more tend to exhibit lower density (−0.168) height (−0.0314), respectively. These also show complex forms irregular city layouts, potentially caused by preservations. We analyze revealing have higher area per capita better access spaces. Furthermore, our growth from 2000 2020 highlights positive relationship between (0.223), as well potential trade-offs preservation GDPPC (−0.865). Our findings underscore impacts cultural address its trade-offs, highlighting need for planning strategies balance sustainable equitable

In recent years, the government has promoted increased deployment of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in public places with dense crowds, which is great significance for ensuring that residents enjoy equal health rights. However, it still unclear what factors decision-makers take into account when formulating plans and whether these are related to local characteristics such as population distribution socioeconomic conditions. Taking Shanghai, China research area, we adopted kernel density estimation spatial autocorrelation analysis explore AEDs. We constructed a geographically weighted regression (GWR) model identify key influencing AED deployment. The results showed AEDs Shanghai presented obvious clustering characteristics. GWR found considered by different regions deploying followed guidance existing policies. It was also mainly deployed more devices areas high elderly population, transportation networks, cultural educational places, hubs large flows. observed city center might lack sufficient preparation group. order allocate emergency medical resources reasonably, very important determine practices shown potential evaluate guide implementation plans.

Bus networks are a crucial support for urban commuting. By studying the evolutionary characteristics of bus networks, we can uncover their development patterns, coverage efficiency, and changes in regional balance, providing scientific basis sustainable optimization transportation resources. This study systematically analyzes spatiotemporal evolution network Beijing from 2006 to 2024 using specific spatial analysis tools analyze characteristics. analyzing rates transit stations road administrative division data, reveals convenience different regions. combining research methodology Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) report, 500-m service radius stops was assessed. A complex model used extract nodes edges network, betweenness centrality (BC) were analyzed. The findings indicate that Beijing’s has gradually expanded central areas peripheral regions, with notable expansion Tongzhou Yanqing, resulting an improved balance distribution routes emergence as new hub. diffusion significantly influenced by boundaries layout ring roads. highly concentrated within Second Ring Road, while number roads increases, various indices decrease. shows clustering uneven directional development. stop exhibits significant characteristics, high Population Conveniently Served Buses (PCSB) predominantly areas, large gap compared outer suburban districts. These conclusions expand on exploration isolated static structure, revealing dynamic mechanisms patterns network. They provide guidance recommendations improving offer more comprehensive planning resource allocation.
