Learning currently still uses traditional methods, namely with a whiteboard and markers to introduce letters children. This study aims analyze the effect of audio-visual media on letter recognition skills children aged 4 5 years in kindergarten. research is included type quantitative experimental that Quasi Experimental Design Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The population this consisted 30 kindergarten Because size was less than 100, complete sampling used guarantee sample. Research data collection carried out using structural observation method. Meanwhile, analysis descriptive statistical techniques. Analysis post-test shows there significant influence children's ability recognize letters. can be seen from increase their average performance, which increased 27.73 before intervention 54.93 after intervention. results hypothesis test further support observation, because significance value 0.002 lower threshold set at 0.05.
