Abstract Aim The research aimed to reveal the existence of relationships between social media addiction, fear missing out developments, and body image in student athletes. Method A total 313 athletes, 133 females 180 males, enrolled sports sciences faculties undergraduate programs three different state universities, participated which relational screening model was adopted. data obtained by using "Personal Information Form", "Social Media Addiction Scale", "Fear Missing Out Social Environments Scale" "Body Appreciation Scale". Data were analyzed Pearson correlation Regression analyses. Loneliness, as one of the most profound and universal emotional challenges faced by modern individuals, has become a focal point scientific research. Particularly, negative body image abnormal eating behaviors stand out critical factors that contribute to loneliness. Beden ve bedene yönelik algılar, benlik kavramı içinde çok önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Ek olarak görselliğe dayalı kültür de beden üzerindeki vurguyu arttırmaktadır. Göz, görsel hâkim duyu algısı halini almaktadır. Sosyal medya ise güzellik konusunda radikal dinamik yaratmaktadır; sinema televizyon gibi geleneksel iletişim araçları tek yönlü olduğu için ancak algı tutumlara yön vererek baskı oluşturabilirken; sosyal çift yapısı nedeni ile aktörü eyleme doğru baskılayabilmektedir. Bu süreçte yalnızca izlenen unsur olmaktan çıkarak, sunulan haline gelmektedir. Güzellik bu süreç popüler kültürün unsuru gelmiştir. Ancak konudaki baskının ne kadarının kültürden medyanın spesifik etkisinden kaynaklandığı belirgin değildir. Ayrıca kadın erkeklerin metinleri okuma biçimleri farklı için, metinlerini şekilde okuyor üretiyor olabilirler. çerçevede çalışmada, bağımlılığı saygısı ilişkisinde, memnuniyetinin aracılık rolü incelenmiştir.
