White muscle disease (WMD) is also known as Stiff Lamb Disease or Nutritional Muscular Dystrophy. Selenium and/or Vitamin E deficiency constitutes the etiology of disease. This study aimed to immunohistochemically evaluate local protein expressions Nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kB), Insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and Microtubule-related 1A/1B-light chain 3 beta (LC3B) in WMD. The material consisted 15 WMD, 6 healthy lamb heart samples. tissues autopsied lambs were subjected routine tissue processing paraffin blocks obtained. Then, it was stained with Hematoxylin-Eosin immunohistochemical methods. Control group had normal macroscopic appearance. Macroscopically, hyaline degeneration zenker’s necrosis, calcification areas observed WMD tissues. Microscopically, degenerative necrotic fibers, areas, fibrosis, mononuclear cell infiltrates macrophage detected Immunohistochemically, significant increases IGF-1 (p

Abstract Listeriosis is an infectious and fatal disease affecting domestic mammals, poultry, humans worldwide. The effectiveness of local tissue expression acute phase proteins in listeriosis mammals not yet clear. aim this study to evaluate the 26 brainstem samples according distribution severity inflammation due natural sheep. material consisted paraffin blocks, including 20 from listeriosis-infected cases 6 healthy controls. Sections obtained blocks were subjected histopathological immunohistochemical analyses. Histopathological examination revealed normal histological structures brainstems control group. In contrast, sections exhibited findings such as micro abscesses composed neutrophil granulocytes microglial cells, gliosis, meningitis, congestion, perivascular cuffs, neuronal degeneration, neuronophagia. Based on inflammation, categorized into three groups: 5 mild (Group I), 8 moderate II), 7 severe III). Immunohistochemical analysis demonstrated significantly increased levels C-reactive protein (CRP), Haptoglobin (Hp), Serum Amyloid A (SAA) groups compared group, with highest statistical scores observed Group II III (p<0.001). suggest that acute-phase may play crucial roles pathophysiological processes naturally infected could express locally. Particularly, these progression provide valuable insights infection process.

This study was aimed to investigate the protective/preventive and/or curative effects of Silybum marianum seed powder against Methomyl toxication by examining some biochemical parameters and pathological changes hepatic in broiler chicks fed with feeds supplemented S. powder. For this purpose, 4 different groups, each containing 32 animals, were used; Control group (CONT), (MET), (SMT) + (MET+SMT). In study, added as 20 ppm 10 g·kg-1. The trial period planned 28 days, necropsies animals from performed daily, samples taken for histopathology biochemistry. liver enzyme activities tissue oxidative stress markers GPx, MDA SOD values found be similar CONT SMT but statistically higher MET group. MET+SMT group, increased lower than histopathological examinations sections, hyperemia, hemorrhage, hydropic degeneration fatty hepatocytes, focal necrosis, dissociation remark cords, mononuclear cell infiltration portal area bile ducts hyperplasia detected. It has been observed that given preventive/healing purposes reduces damage contributes positively all groups. concluded can poultry diets residues or contamınatıons according thıs study.
