Overweight and obesity are linked to increased hospitalization mortality in COVID-19 patients. This study aimed characterize induced immune responses deep cell profiles stratified by BMI hospitalized observational multicenter cohort pilot included 122 adult patients with PCR-confirmed Denmark, (normal weight, overweight, obese). Inflammation was assessed using TruCulture® flow cytometry a customized antibody panel (DuraClone®). Patients had more pro-inflammatory phenotype TNF-α, IL-8, IL-17, IL-10 levels post-T stimulation, altered B profiles. showed higher concentrations of naïve, transitional, non-isotype switched memory cells, plasmablasts compared normal weight healthy controls. Obesity may correlate elevated cytokines, anti-inflammatory IL-10, subset activation, highlighting the need for further studies.
