Abstract Bisphenol A (BPA) is widely used in manufacturing various consumer products and detected water sources. Epidemiological studies reveal a correlation between BPA exposure metabolic system disorders, including obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular issues. Experimental further support these findings by demonstrating the adverse impact of on physiological processes, contributing to onset disorders. Despite its detrimental health effects, removal poses formidable challenge due intricate molecular structure, resistant conventional treatment methods. To address this, our review comprehensively summarizes human data vivo/in vitro mammalian studies, offering comparative analysis technologies with focus documented impacts. Biological removes efficiently, however, maintaining ideal bacterial populations controlling biomass concentration provide difficulties that affect operational stability scalability. In meantime, despite high rate physiochemical such as absorption membrane technology, they consume significant amounts energy generate chemical residues could retain toxicity. this regard, hybrid photocatalytic emerges promising solution, forming basis for evaluation wastewater purification.
