complex
interaction
between
traumatic
experiences

Abstract
Background:
Armed
conflict
in
Colombia
has
severely
affectedthe
mental
health
of
individuals
and
communities.
Factors
such
as
poverty,
inequality
social
exclusion
have
exacerbated
consequences

posttraumaticstress
disorder.
However,
a
perspective
that
transcends
the
deficit
paradigm
addressing
determinants

contexts

us
to
recognize
how
political
conditions
determine
people's
physical

strengthen

Tejiendo
Memoria,

older
adult
victims
conflict,
is
remarkable
