The aim of this research is to understand the role foster carers in providing education and guidance that can increase independence students at Darussa'adah Lirboyo Islamic boarding school social, emotional religious aspects. In addition, it identifies environmental factors, parents influence level students, so necessary corrective steps be identified. This uses a qualitative method with case study approach. data taken involved carers, administrator as primary sources. Data collection will carried out through in-depth interviews, observation documentation studies. results show educating fostering very significant. Foster guardians have an important accompanying guiding every aspect students' daily lives, including practices, activities extracurricular activities. They act substitute parental figures schools provide good examples positive behavior advice. independence, train independent terms personal hygiene, time management responsibility. also encouragement, motivation enthusiasm facing various challenges, thereby increasing self-confidence for learning.
