Recently, the application of innovative technological solutions has revolutionized various aspects our lives, and education is no exception. This study investigated use AI-powered tools their effects on teaching learning English academic writing skills. The research was conducted with participation 5 teachers 60 students from five classes in two language centers Hanoi. Data were mainly collected through tests questionnaires. Interviews used as a supporting tool. findings indicate that have positive attitudes toward artificial intelligence (AI), AI are beneficial to participants at discourse, sentence, word/phase levels. considerable contribution terms cohesion coherence, lexical resources, grammatical range, accuracy. can be considered an informative source reference for who writing, especially prospective candidates standardized tests.

Among the tools, POE currently being used by several Vietnamese ESL teachers. Nonetheless, students’ engagement and perception effectiveness tool still needs be explored.
