decades.
Due
to
advances
medical
technology,
treatment
possibilities
have
expanded
for
elderly
frail
patients.
This
scoping
review
explores
correlation
between
POD
surgery,
summarizing
screening
management
protocols
identifying
risk
factors
this
surgical
field.

Introduction:
Dalbavancin
is
a
semisynthetic
lipoglycopeptide
long-acting
antibiotic
approved
for
the
treatment
of
acute
bacterial
skin
and
structure
infections
(ABSSSIs).
Its
features
can
be
useful
in
current
healthcare
scenario
characterized
by
shortage
available
hospital
beds.
Materials,
methods
results:
We
implemented
several
actions
order
to
optimize
use
dalbavancin
allowing
an
improvement
strategy
both
from
system
patient’s
perspective
two
settings.
In
Emergency
Department
we
hospitalized
only
patients
who
met
clinical
criteria
not
logistic
(i.e.,
need
therapy
infusion).
During
years
2017-2023,
this
was
applied
40
cases,
thus
avoiding
hospitalizations
total
saving
280
days
hospitalization.
Internal
Medicine
ward
surgery
department
when
there
no
longer
any
hospitalization,
discharged
patient
as
early
possible.
189
at
least
1,134
The
outcome
treated
favorable
228
out
229
(99.5%).
Conclusions:
Our
experience
using
ABSSSI
has
been
very
satisfactory
overall.
efficacy
close
100%.
Minor
adverse
events
slight
severity
occurred
rarely.
At
same
time,
allowed
more
efficient
allocation
presents
ideal
pharmacodynamic/pharmacokinetic
profile
management
especially
settings
where
beds
critical.

inmovilidad,

delirio,
demencia,
polifarmacia
depresión.
El
manejo
multidisciplinario
desde
Atención
Primaria
(AP)
crucial,
enfocándose
en
prevención,
detección
tratamiento
temprano,
con
enfoque
centrado
paciente.
Sin
embargo,
aún
pueden
mejorar
áreas
como
formación
del
personal,
colaboración
interprofesional,
humanización
atención
uso
nuevas
tecnologías
optimizar
cuidado
adultos
mayores.
