Abstract
In
this
study,
37
female
and
40
male
Alburnus
sellal
individuals
from
the
Tigris
River
were
analyzed.
Using
geometric
morphometrics,
significant
differences
in
scale
size
between
sexes
found,
but
none
shape.
Seasonal
age
groups
showed
both
shape,
with
females
autumn
having
larger
scales.
Scale
increased
age.
PCA
variation
across
age,
season,
sex,
while
CVA
DFA
revealed
shape
seasonal
groups,
not
sexes.
