Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penerapan model contextual teaching and learning (CTL) dengan menggunakan media pop-up book terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pelajaran IPS di Kelas V SD Islam Athirah 2 Bukit Baruga Kota Makassar. termasuk jenis penelitian kuantitatif desain quasi experimental. Subjek melibatkan 48 yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yakni 24 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, tes, dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan teknik statistik deskriptif inferensial. Hasil mengindikasikan bahwa CTL pop up memiliki signifikan peningkatan hasil IPS. Efektivitas ditunjukkan persentase pada setiap pertemuan. menyimpulkan penggunaan dapat secara meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Implikasi dari adalah dijadikan salah satu strategi pembelajaran efektif kualitas pendidikan sekolah dasar. lanjutan disarankan mengeksplorasi efek jangka panjang berbagai mata konteks pendidikan.
