Enhancing rural resilience is crucial due to the significant vulnerabilities faced by areas, such as weak economic foundations, scarce resources, and deficient infrastructure. This paper aims provide a comprehensive review of network (RNR) underscore its importance in understanding mechanisms pathways sustainable development. To establish theoretical foundations RNR, we trace evolution concepts their applications across disciplines. The proposed analytical framework integrates evaluation methods from science assess RNR’s structural characteristics outlines simulation techniques for predicting under various risk scenarios. Furthermore, examines key influencing factors that shape RNR within complex regional systems, exploring intricate evolutionary involved. bridge existing research gaps, synergistic development perspective introduced, emphasizing interconnected, multi-layered nature networks societal, economic, ecological domains.
