Clinical
mastitis
(CM)
is
a
prevalent
and
severe
inflammatory
disease
in
dairy
cows
affecting
the
mammary
glands.
Fatty
acid
(FA)
metabolism
associated
enzymes
are
crucial
for
many
physiological
pathological
processes
cows.
However,
relationships
among
FA
metabolism,
FA-associated
enzymes,
CM,
as
well
mechanisms
underlying
their
interactions,
not
fully
understood.
The
aim
of
this
study
was
to
characterize
biological
process
(BP)
terms,
pathways,
differentially
expressed
proteins
(DEPs)
related
from
our
previous
data-independent
acquisition
proteomic
study.
Six
BPs
involving
14
downregulated
20
upregulated
DEPs,
four
pathways
10
11
DEPs
synthesis
were
systematically
identified.
Associated
analysis
suggested
that
12
candidate
obtained
especially
acyl-CoA
thioesterase
7
(ACOT7),
regulate
long-chain
(LCFA)
elongation
biosynthesis
unsaturated
FAs.
Immunohistochemical
immunofluorescence
staining
results
showed
ACOT7
present
mainly
cytoplasm
epithelial
cells.

Background:
This
study
investigated
the
link
between
daily
fatty
acid
intake
and
antinuclear
antibody
(ANA)
levels,
a
marker
of
immune
dysregulation
autoimmune
diseases,
in
individuals
with
self-reported
arthritis.
Methods:
From
US
National
Health
Nutrition
Examination
Survey
(NHANES)
1999–2004,
829
participants
who
arthritis
had
autoantibody
measurements
were
selected.
Dietary
acids
collected
via
two
24
h
dietary
recall
interviews
conducted
by
trained
interviewers.
ANA
levels
measuring
IgG
autoantibodies
targeting
cellular
antigens.
Results:
In
multi-adjusted
logistic
model,
odds
ratio
(OR)
highest
tertile
omega-3
(with
>
1.60
g/day)
for
probability
positivity
was
0.43
(95%
CI:
0.19–0.96)
compared
to
those
lowest
(≤0.92
g/day).
However,
we
did
not
observe
statistically
significant
results
other
acids.
Conclusions:
Our
findings
highlight
potential
PUFAs
modulate
function
lower
risk

Purpose
Understanding
factors
influencing
clinical
biomarkers
is

prevention
