This study aims to examine the effect of altitude on acceleration gravity with help smartphone acoustic sensors. The varies from interval 100-1061 MASL (Mean Above Sea Level), located around Special Region Yogyakarta. An iron ball is dropped a certain height, and time it falls observed using an sensor in Phypox, results are used determine value due (g) through equation g = 2h/t2. Fitting data measurements four variations shown polynomial y 0.000003x2 – 0.0035x +10.718 m/s2 regression number R2 1,000. shows that will decrease quadratically each increase per meter above sea level.
