BIM and 4.0 technologies are currently the leading branches of digitization in construction. The aim this article is to confront theses on building information modeling (BIM) coexisting technologies, present an analysis along with conclusions regarding process AEC industries using methodology advanced digital within scope technologies. Key aspects technology integration were discussed, including artificial intelligence (AI) or big data science analytics. impact these fields design processes, as well management, monitoring construction progress, overall efficiency industries, was analyzed. pays particular attention synergy between technology, identifying benefits, challenges, development perspectives. Conclusions indicate growing importance interdisciplinarity for improving industry processes need adapt changing landscape field A survey conducted, where respondents’ answers presented form charts. Questions focused issue use by Polish engineering staff. research results that latest technological solutions Poland still rare, potential not fully utilized. can make a significant contribution discussion evolution directions context achievements technology. Previous has included such wide spectrum Poland. An conducted comparing global other countries adoption.

The increasing digitisation of the construction industry is generating global interest in building information modelling (BIM) methodology. Recognising tangible benefits it brings, many countries are choosing to begin work on implementing so-called mandate, defining national implementation plans and introducing legal regulations. purpose this article was conduct an in-depth study literature search current state BIM Poland. As part a structured work, previous activities central government bodies towards mandate were examined. ongoing optionality application public procurement shown, as well lack coordinated top-down activities, they play major role implementation. In addition, relevance NGO process popularising presented. result critical analysis, assessment discussion possible future directions Poland made.

Accessibility in today's reality is becoming an increasingly important issue as it affects every individual. We are observing the progressive ageing of Polish population. By applying principles universal design, all needs related to mobility, vision, hearing, and other issues met, thereby creating inclusive spaces that eliminate social exclusion enhance quality life. This article aims demonstrate usefulness BIM building urban accessibility. For this purpose, a point cloud acquired from laser scanning single-family was utilised. Based on this, digital model actual created Revit subsequently modernised. modernisation aimed remove barriers building, stipulated relevant regulation. The paper refers theory place, response steady increase average age. not merely geometric representation but reconstruction object using elements equivalent those used reality, allowing for efficient data management.

BIM and GIS technologies are used in both planning investment construction processes. is more often the former, where one operates on a macro scale information about environment essential for decision-making. BIM, other hand, increasingly implemented processes (micro scale). The model as resource of knowledge object basis decision-making, while data from systems necessary to obtain reliable prevailing spatial, social or economic conditions. basic attributes related geographic location (coordinate system, angle true north, elevation ordinate). Unfortunately, use different programming paradigms. mainly relational database based multidimensional tables, uses so-called encapsulation, polyform, hierarchy instantiation, which enrich semantically stored data. There many benefits integrating geospatial with building information. problem compatibility interoperability two subject considerations science practitioners during application work. Georeferencing models conferred several ways, however, most them require relatively expensive commercial tools extensive digital skills even programming. Rarely, such FME conversion, management visualization. Thus, purpose present work was attempt properly georeference historic building, located at Constitution Square Warsaw, environment, then convert shapefile output format using software. results experimental indicate that can be embedded quite accurately space given coordinate system displayed against various contextual data, but 3D geometry itself loses its detail quality. paper discusses limitations procedure future research directions.
