Technology applications play an important role in promoting progressive education the higher sector, where student-centered and holistic development approaches are essential. In this context, electronic monitoring can meet needs of authorities, institutions, university administrators while also aiding academics students. This study explores consequences from perspective Bangladeshi working private universities. It investigates extent to which is utilized monitor job performance academics' perceptions using application. Guided by panopticon model, we designed a qualitative research approach employed case interview methods obtain data. Two universities were involved data collection. The results revealed that most saw value as alternative traditional means surveillance. Furthermore, positive attitudes toward such practice influenced their level awareness being electronically monitored technological with features could provide them control over work available support mechanisms. Some highlighted benefits safety, productivity, cost-effectiveness, potentially unlawful or unethical conduct monitoring, workplace accountability obligation.
