Business confidence refers to the level of optimism or pessimism that business owners have about prospects their companies and overall economy. Thus, focus this study is examine long-term impact various macroeconomic factors—economic growth, government expenditure, interest rates, inflation, exchange composite stock price index—on index in Indonesia by utilizing monthly data from January 2009 December 2022. We employ Dynamic Ordinary Least Squares (DOLS) Fully-Modified (FMOLS) as main methods, with Canonical Cointegrating Regressions (CCR) a robustness check method. The also utilizes pairwise Granger causality tests for comprehensive analysis. findings indicate all factors significantly long term across methodologies. Specifically, economic exert positive impact, while rates negative on index. This evidence emphasizes importance businesses diligently monitor trends understand patterns these indicators so can better anticipate changes sentiment. Taking perspective when making strategic decisions investments advisable, recognizing influence may be more pronounced over time.

South Asian countries are included in the economies of developing Asia. The region Asia is predominantly affected by energy poverty issues due to a heavy reliance on conventional and unpredictable access services. It has about quarter world's population home three ten most populated countries: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh. This study investigates environmental sustainability dynamics from 2000 2021, utilizing Cross-sectional Autoregressive Distributed Lag (CS-ARDL) Dumitrescu-Hurlin (D-H) causality methods. research offers insights into long-term trends causal relationships that shape outcomes nations. Based empirical findings, long-term, it revealed increases poverty, economic growth, income inequality, capital formation raise greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, while renewable labor reduce GHG emissions. On other hand, error correction term shows speed adjustment toward equilibrium at 0.75%. Furthermore, D-H panel reveals directional link between variables. These findings highlight urgent need for implement policies address promote adoption, inequality mitigate emissions achieve effectively.

However, it scales quadratically respect the size dataset, taking several minutes cluster even medium-sized datasets on traditional CPU-based machines. In this paper, we present formulation using sparse-dense matrix multiplication (SpMM) sparse matrix-vector (SpMV), show our enables rapid implementation fast GPU-based version little programming effort. The transition to renewable energy requires innovations in new sources, such as wind turbines and photovoltaic (PV) systems. Challenges arise ensuring efficient reliable performance their operation maintenance. Predictive maintenance using machine learning (PdM-ML) is relevant for addressing these challenges by enhancing failure predictions reducing downtime. This study examines the effectiveness of PdM-ML turbine PV systems analyzing operational data, performing data preprocessing, developing models each system. results indicate that model can predict failures critical components gearboxes blades with high accuracy. In contrast, effective predicting efficiency declines inverters solar panels. Regarding complexity, has advantages disadvantages its own, but when compared conventional techniques, both provide lower costs greater efficiency. conclusion, learning-based predictive a promising solution reliability

Abstract Energy is an essential resource for sustaining daily life and achieving economic growth. The increase in global energy demand, combined with the adverse environmental impacts of fossil fuels, has highlighted urgency transitioning to sustainable sources. In large heterogeneous countries like Türkiye, region-specific analyses potential (SEP) are crucial formulating effective policies optimizing allocation. This study introduces a novel two-step hierarchical clustering classification framework evaluate SEP Türkiye’s provinces comprehensively. combines fuzzy crisp methods capture complex relationships among socioeconomic, geographical, renewable criteria. First, Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) algorithm employed perform using three main criteria different distance metrics—Euclidean, Manhattan, Minkowski—, resulting 21 scenarios. Membership degrees from phase then integrated into new dataset, which undergoes K-Means algorithm. approach provides both granular definitive cluster structures, enabling robust analysis regional characteristics. To validate results, supervised methods—including K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Support Vector Machines (SVM), Random Forest (RF), Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost)—are utilized, alongside ensemble models based on RF XGBoost. results compared traditional evaluation indices, such as Silhouette Calinski-Harabasz demonstrating feasibility assess accuracy. study’s key contributions lie integrating systematically providing actionable insights sources most suitable each cluster. By tailoring policy recommendations unique characteristics cluster, this not only corroborates existing findings literature but also extends them by offering practical methodology planning.
