The traditional method track includes written log notebook. Thus, PregiDose, unique offering context pregnancy apps, was developed enhance tracking and monitoring using technological methods. Objective This study aims describe users’ perceptions app’s usefulness PregiDose natural setting. Methods overarching framework adopted for design science research (DSR) methodology encompassing five steps, namely (1) problem awareness, (2) suggestion, (3) development, (4) evaluation, (5) conclusion. paper presents evaluation step DSR. DSR 4 included qualitative approach explore regarding app. Data were collected semistructured interview guide. Open-ended questions guided core features, tracking, education, wellness. In total, 17 South Africa enrolled use app, 9 (53%) engaged with (24%) agreed participate feedback interviews. data October 2023 March 2024 analyzed reflective thematic analysis method. Physiological barriers, such fatigue “pregnancy brain,” contributors decreased engagement. Finally, because demanding workload fast-paced nature radiography department, users recommended automation dosimetry through Internet Things. Conclusions an occupational safety mobile app approach. offers consistent advancements self-tracking. However, future implementation require Things make more effective.
