The

number
of
older
adults
in
Indonesia
demands
more
attention
to
efforts
optimize
their
health.

Aging
brings
various
health
challenges,
including
hypertension
and
diabetes
mellitus,
which
can
affect
the
quality
of
life
elderly.
This
study
aims
to
identify
prevalence
these
two
diseases
in
Kepatihan
Village,
Kaliwates
District,
Jember
Regency,
evaluate
effectiveness
education
managing
them.
Community
service
activities
include
initial
examinations
that
show
a
high
prediabetes
among
elderly,
with
only
few
having
normal
blood
pressure
sugar
levels.
The
program
involves
examinations,
disease
prevention
control
education,
re-examination
weeks
after
education.
results
showed
older
adults
increased
from
3
8
people,
regular
levels
5
21
people.
A
significant
decrease
cases
prehypertension
indicates
success
increasing
participants'
awareness
knowledge
about
their
health.
However,
conditions
limited
resources
remain
barriers.
