In health promotion efforts, online media have functioned as educational tools by forming pet well-being coverage in the news.During current COVID-19 pandemic, education through information on how to interact between owners and their pets is very important.The purpose of this study describe role disseminating about a pandemic situation.The research was conducted qualitatively five Indonesian media, with selection analysis unit for news at tribunnews.com, detik.com,kompas.com,okezone.com,and cnnindonesia.com.The basis based order best portals Indonesia 2020.The selected according criteria feature type that contains humans during pandemic.The technique used mixed methods text analysis, quantitative content mapping emergence qualitative framing elaborating frames.The findings show roles supported emphasizing mitigation focus ways prevent transmission interactions need make pets.The conclusion has supporting promotion, well being means media.However, dissemination still needs be presented more intensively, integrated other issues, nature, not only reported lifestyle rubrics.The contribution regarding providing support sustainability urban shaping literacy importance balancing pets.
