A Study on the Perceptions of English Majored Students’ Towards the Uses of ChatGPT in Enhancing Pronunciation DOI Open Access

This research examines learners’ perspectives towards ChatGPT following its application in pronunciation class. There were 64 English-majored students from Dai Nam University (a Vietnamese private university) involved the study. Employing a mixed method design, quantitative data Google Form survey was collected after course with application. Qualitative then gathered semi-structured interviews questions based on TAM model (Technology Acceptance Model) to further understand how perceive being adapted their learning. Findings showed that generally viewed of training as positive experience. is reflected students’ favorable acknowledgement ChatGPT’s usefulness improving pronunciation, chatbot’s ease use and intention continue incorporating practice. Bu çalışma, Türkçe ve Türk Dili Edebiyatı öğretmenlerinin yapay zekânın dilin dört temel yeterliğine etkisini belirlemeyi amaçlamıştır. Veriler zekâyı deneyimlemiş öğretmenlerden beşli Likert tipinde bir anket formu aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Anketin geliştirme sürecinde alan yazınından elde edilen verilerden yararlanılmıştır. Ayrıca anketin iç dış güvenirliğini sağlamak için kamuda görevli psikolog akademisyenlerin görüşleri dikkate alınmıştır. Öğretmenlerin dil öğretiminde olmaları ölçüt olarak kabul edildiğinden araştırmada amaçlı örnekleme yönteme başvurulmuştur. Araştırmada betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmış olup veri analizi SPSS 27.0 programı tercih edilmiştir. geçerlik Cronbach’s alpha değeri göz önünde bulundurulmuştur. Betimsel yöntemiyle her maddesinin frekansı, aritmetik ortalaması standart sapması hesaplanarak yorumlanmıştır. Elde veriler öğretmenlerin okuma, konuşma, yazma dinleme ile bunları oluşturan alt kategorileri üzerinde olumlu görüşlere sahip olduğu sonucunu ortaya koymuştur. bulgulardan hareketle becerisini yönde etkileyebileceği yeterliğinin geliştirdiği ifade edilebilir.
