Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) are transforming the landscape of mathematical modelling areas including physics, biology, and chemistry. Research suggests that ChatGPT, Gemini, other AI tools can change way researchers use simulation modeling for complex phenomena by helping to produce models faster with less computational complexity real-time insights. Here, we introduce a novel framework building life sciences using applications disease dynamics ecological systems. The approach integrates into process hybrid model combines initial formulations based on AI-assisted discussions refinements expert validation AI-generated output. To give an example, if interested outbreaks, platforms such as ChatGPT or Gemini instantly build simple susceptible-infectious-recovered (SIR) model. This also helps high dataset processing making parameter suggestions data, which turn dynamic adaptation changing data (e.g. transmission rates intervention strategies). Likewise, modelling, aid generation predator-prey consider these interactions, habitat fragmentation reserved zones then suggest sensitivities observed trends. These abilities make future AI-based especially exciting, they will further decrease time is traditionally spent manually defining allow them focus result interpretation strategic decision-making. With rapidly advances tools, incorporating some new capabilities developments procedure may unprecedented improvements predictive performance, flexibility interdisciplinary investigations. Further research real-world efforts this needed determine improve cost-effectiveness affordability many fields science.

Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has issues, including inherent bias and inaccurate information, yet it not stifled individuals' use of this in the mathematics classroom. Thus, we conducted a document analysis to investigate ChatGPT, generative AI chatbot, constructing elementary mathematical tasks determine how teacher educators (MTEs) can support implementation. We analyzed 191 text responses constructed by each corresponding task created for one Common Core standards from kindergarten fifth Grade answer research questions: What are associated levels cognitive demand ChatGPT's responses, is there statistically significant difference between lower‐level higher‐level tasks, what common characteristics AI's tasks? found significantly demands across but many activities were repetitive inappropriate specified grade level. Finally, explored MTEs could teachers using tool their classrooms Mathematical Critical Curation Questions.

This self-study highlights the collaborative journey of two elementary teacher educators from a rural institution as they navigated integration Generative AI (GenAI) into teaching and research. To grow their literacy, engaged in reflective practices, discussions, hands-on implementation GenAI technologies. Through this process, documented experiences with AI-driven chatbots, offering insights learnings concerns. Their reflections underscored importance understanding GenAI's role education, challenges integrating tools effectively, potential learning. The concluded that while can augment human capabilities, it cannot replace expertise due to its limitations. By capturing journey, study contributed growing discourse on literacy among educators, emphasizing need for upskilling ongoing professional development face rapidly evolving
