Abstract Objectives: The study aimed to assess the clinical value of triglyceride/high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(TG/HDL-c) ratio as a diagnostic marker for hyperuricemia (HUA) in female population China. Methods: A total 21,316 eligible participants, aged 18 years and older, were consecutively recruited during routine medical examinations at Northern Jiangsu People’s Hospital from July 2014 August 2023. Participants divided into four groups based on their TG/HDL-c values. Logistic regression analysis models employed further investigate correlation between prevalence HUA this region.Restricted cubic splines (RCS) used explore linear associations HUA. Results: The average age participants was 42.68±13.96 overall is 6.41%. mean uric acid level 265.34±59.72umol/L. univariate logistic showed that higher positively correlated with presence (OR (95%CI) =3.601(3.281,3.951), P < 0.001). In different we found statistically significant association levels HUA(P<0.05). there nonlinear (P 0.001).After adjusting multiple covariates, interaction BMI, well creatinine, difference (P < 0.05).The AUC predicting occurrence among 0.717(95%Cl:0.703-0.731). Conclusions: An elevated TG/HDL-C increases risk females eastern China, particularly individuals low creatinine normal body weight. Monitoring may be beneficial preventing women.

Background: There are no clinical or laboratory markers that can diagnose acute mesenteric ischemia (AMI) accurately. This study aimed to find differences in and between arterial occlusive AMI other abdominal diseases where was initially suspected. Methods: a post hoc of an international prospective multicenter data on patients with suspected were collected. Independent factors associated evaluated multivariable logistic regression analysis. Results: The number 231, consisting thrombotic (n = 104), embolic 61), indeterminate 66) occlusions. non-AMI group included 287 patients, whom 128 had strangulated bowel obstruction. Current smoking (odds ratio [OR] 2.56, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.31–5.03), hypertension (OR 2.08, CI 1.09–3.97), emptying 3.25, 1.59–6.63), leukocytosis 1.54, 1.14–2.08) at admission independently compared the group. Conclusions: found be suspicion AMI, which possibly value screening for emergency department. Further studies needed more accurate diagnostic markers.
