Aim: This study aimed to assess the health literacy levels of students in Faculty Health Sciences at a public university and investigate relationships differences between participants' sociodemographic characteristics their levels. Methods: The employed quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational research design. Data were gathered through face-to-face surveys, utilizing socio-demographic data form THLS-32 scale. analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS 22.00. Descriptive statistics, including frequency distributions, percentages, standard deviations, arithmetic means, calculated. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test used evaluate normality distribution, which revealed non-normal distribution. As result, non-parametric tests (Mann-Whitney U Test Kruskal-Wallis H Test) applied. Correlation analyses performed Spearman’s Rho coefficient, statistical significance evaluated 95% confidence interval with 5% margin error. Results: findings indicated that 66.3% participants exhibited sufficient or excellent Female had significantly higher TS-AI perceptions than male students. Management (HM) demonstrated compared Emergency Aid Disaster (EADM) highest observed among final-year students, social security TS those without. Abstract Objective Individuals’ COVID-19 protection and awareness could be related to their health literacy levels. This study aims determine individuals’ levels in eastern Turkey the relationship between them. Methods utilized a descriptive correlational design. The target population was individuals aged 18-65 years who sought treatment emergency department of state hospital Turkey. sample consisted 762 visited institution where data were collected July 15, 2021-December 2021 agreed participate study. Data through Personal Information Form, Awareness Scale, Health Literacy Scale. Ethics committee approval institutional permissions obtained conduct analysis used arithmetic means, standard deviations, skewness kurtosis coefficients, t test, ANOVA, Welch Bonferroni tests, correlation analysis. Results participants’ Scale total mean score 50.71 ± 14.93, 45.03 10.57. A moderate positive detected scale sub-scales scores ( r = 0.350). Conclusions level increased with level. It is recommended that help increase protect improve health.
