Objective: The fact in salt production by traditional coastal communities is a lack of understanding the halal standards for formulated Ulama Consultative Council Aceh region. Supposedly, Muslim farmers already have basic knowledge about under Islamic sharia rules. This article, therefore, describes processing process that conforms to standards, including main raw materials, workers, facilities, processes, product packaging, and distribution law. Method: data used this study were observations Lancang (coastal fields), interviews with head LPPOM MPU secretaries, Banda Maritime Affairs Fisheries Service, 241 farmers, three staff supporting farmers. Data also obtained through focus group discussion attended all elements involved Acehnese production. Results: results highlighted four had been met: material worker packaging standards. Meanwhile, two not fulfilled: standard facilities used. Both met according guidelines Aceh. SDGs Review | São Paulo (SP) VOL. 4 e01594 pag: 01-47 Jan-Dec 2024. Contribution: research helps improve quality produced introducing guiding them comply set Education awareness-raising among importance are key points, where they taught how apply principles at every stage salt-making process.
