Despite significant advancements in therapeutic approaches to triple-negative breast cancer, treatments remain relatively ineffective once metastasis occurs. The introduction of immunotherapy has revolutionized oncological therapies, yet hurdles before its full potential can be realized. In this review, we examine immune escape mechanisms shared between pregnancy (the 'fetal allograft') and cancer. We discuss the use abortion-inducing agents context cancer immunotherapy, also provide rationale preliminary data on FloraStilbene™, a combination polyphenol antioxidant pterostilbene glucocorticoid receptor antagonist mifepristone, for stimulation anticancer immunity.

Epilepsy is a devastating neurological condition that affects over 70 million people worldwide. Apart from idiopathic epilepsy, numerous diseases have been reported to cause secondary epilepsy. Polyphenols, ubiquitously existing in fruits and vegetables, has become promising neuroprotective candidate against multiple abnormalities due its interplay with gut microbiome composed of the bacterial population gastrointestinal system. This bioactive compound also being tested for management epileptogenesis. However, there still insufficient evidence mechanistic studies demonstrate causal relationship between anti-epileptic effect polyphenols microbial alteration. In this review, we provide brief overview microbiota. We then analysis association microbiota particularly epilepsy symptomatic seizures-induced by epilepsy-related disorders. discuss possibility combined application probiotics improve bioavailability bioaccessibility expanding function. finally summarize therapeutic potential anti-seizure through affecting microbiome, propose may be tightly relevant intestinal flora overcoming comorbidities simultaneously. Therefore, dietary targeting specific bacteria achieve outcome 'one stone, two birds'.
