Hyperlipidemia is considered as a high-risk factor for leading to coronary heart disease. MicroRNA-148a-3p (miR-148a-3p) inhibitor potential therapeutic target bind low-density lipoprotein cholesterol receptors (LDLR) decreasing the levels of in plasma. However, effects are not ideal clinical translation nucleic acids treatment, owing short circulation time vivo. Therefore, platelet membrane (PM) cloaks Se nanoparticles (SeNPs) delivery system with chitosan (CS) modifies and miR-148a-3p inhibitors encapsulated designed (PM/CS-SeNPs/miR). The PM/CS-SeNPs/miR shows uniform shell-core structure particle size ≈90 nm. Co-delivering effectively alleviate hyperlipidemia via LDLR pathway Toll-Like Receptor 4 (TLR-4)/NF-κB signaling pathway, respectively. Furthermore, coated by PM, successfully prolong 48 h vivo quickly liver no toxicity. This dual combination therapy miRNAs based on targeted presents high-performance strategy precise treatment.

Published: May 22, 2023

Hemorrhage is a detrimental event present in traumatic injury, surgery, and disorders of bleeding, that can become life-threatening if not properly managed. Moreover, uncontrolled bleeding complicate surgical interventions, altering the outcome procedures. Therefore, to reduce risk complications decrease morbidity mortality associated with hemorrhage, it necessary use an effective hemostatic agent ensures immediate control bleeding. In recent years, there have been increasingly rapid advances developing novel generation biomaterials properties. Nowadays, wide array topical agents available, including chitosan-based shown outstanding properties such as: antibacterial, antifungal, hemostatic, analgesic activity, addition their biocompatibility, biodegradability, wound-healing effects. This review provides analysis discusses progress made performance, mechanism action, efficacy, cost, safety years.
