Digera muricata Mart, a plant having therapeutic characteristics that has been utilised traditionally, belongs to the Amaranthaceae family, and promising source of specific natural products utilized as antioxidant, prophylactic, antimicrobial, anthelmintic, anti-diabetic, allelopathic agent. In present study, biologically active phytosterol was isolated from Mart. The compound characterized by 13C, 1H NMR, FTIR, HRMS. Characterization isolate done antimicrobial assay, molecular docking. potential (50 µl) against Streptococcus pyogenes found be maximum (ZOI-20.0 ± 1.0), followed agalactiae (ZOI-11.3±1.5), Candida albicans (ZOI- 09.0 Klebsiella pneumonia (ZOI-8.6 1.5) Escherichia coli 1.5). docking results indicate binds receptor 1AI9 at 32th 58th positions; 1KZN 76th position, 5L3J 46th (ASN) 136th (ARG) position; 7WIJ 419th 582th (ASP) 585th positions.

The study examined the possible anticancer properties of a colla pulp extract derived from Musa acuminata. It employed three different cancer cell lines, MDA-MB-231 (breast cancer), HCT-116 (colon and MG-63 (osteosarcoma). We evaluated antiproliferative using MTT test identified bioactive components through GC-MS analysis. analysis showed that ethanol contained several compounds could be useful in fight against cancer. These included palmitic acid, linoleic 5-hydroxymethylfurfural, 5-Methyl-2-ethylamino-2-thiazoline. remarkable cytotoxicity with IC50 values 250 µg/ml, 175 320 µg/ml for MDA-MB-231, HCT-116, respectively. Finally, it was determined banana contains significant number phenolic compounds, provitamin A, antioxidants. present suggests bananas have promising uses field research, treatment, prevention.
