Background Electrochemical sensing is a versatile field that uses electrochemistry concepts to detect and measure various substances. It finds applications in clinical diagnostics environmental monitoring. Scientists are currently working on creating reliable electrochemical devices can accurately ascorbic acid. Iron sulfide (FeS) has emerged as promising material for these sensors due its excellent electrical conductivity, catalytic activity, stability. Materials methods The FeS nanoparticles were synthesized through the hydrothermal method of synthesis. glassy carbon electrode (GCE) with surface area 0.071 cm2 was modified before mechanically polished 1 µm, 0.3 0.05 µm alumina pastes mirror finishing. Then it subjected ultrasonication double distilled water few minutes clean GCE. suspension prepared by dispersing 5 mg 10 mL ethanol during 20 ultrasonic agitation then GCE coated μL drop coating dried air. Results In this study, synthesis, tested their properties tests.
