The professional identity formation (PIF) of postgraduate trainees in basic health sciences is critical to their educational journey. Yet, appropriate measurement tools are lacking. This research aimed adapt and modify an existing PIF scale assess the identities trainees. A mixed-method study was conducted validate a modified scale. An instrument developed following AMEE Guide 87 (A. R. Artino et al.) (1). Seven medical educationalists science supervisors established its content validity reliability. Cognitive interviews were with 15 participants, tool validated through Delphi technique. Piloting undertaken on simple random sample 500 Psychometric analyses, including structure factor analysis, internal consistency testing, qualitative used evaluate Five factors related identified: "Commitment Professional Identity, belonging Values," "Pursuit Knowledge Excellence," "Professional Growth Collaboration," Personal Reflection," "Confidence impact." demonstrated robust psychometric properties, well-defined structure, significant reliability, high consistency.
