BACKGROUND
The
integration
of
artificial
intelligence
(AI)
into
healthcare
is
set
to
revolutionize
the
sector,
offering
opportunities
enhance
diagnostic
accuracy,
personalize
treatment,
and
improve
patient
outcomes.
However,
little
known
about
nurses’
readiness
integrate
AI
their
professional
practice.
OBJECTIVE
This
study
aimed
identify
key
factors
influencing
intention
METHODS
An
online
survey
was
distributed
3,000
members
order
nurses
in
Québec,
Canada.
A
total
312
participated,
with
307
completing
full
questionnaire.
Data
were
analyzed
using
descriptive
statistics
partial
least
squares
structural
equation
modeling
(PLS-SEM).
RESULTS
Nurses’
beliefs
role
trust
found
significantly
predict
AI.
Facilitating
conditions
influenced
familiarity
AI,
which
turn
shaped
perceptions
AI’s
impact.
model
explained
65%
variance
behavioral
intention.
CONCLUSIONS
findings
underscore
importance
enhancing
fostering
positive
attitudes
promote
integration.
Educational
strategies
targeting
these
can
facilitate
adoption
nursing.
