Heat stress (HS) is still the essential environmental agent influencing poultry industry. Research on HS in has progressively acquired growing interest because of increased attention to climate alteration. Poultry can survive at certain zone temperatures, so it could be considered homoeothermic. In poultry, normal body temperature enhance internal environment for growth, which achieved by temperature. Recently, many studies have revealed that cause mitochondrial dysfunction broilers inducing redox dysfunction, increasing uncoupling protein, boosting lipid and protein oxidation, oxidative stress. Moreover, diminished energy suppliers supported mitochondria activity. A novel strategy combating negative influences via function through enrichment diets with enhancers was also described this review. Finally, current review highlights induced attempts boost functionality enriching broiler diets.

Placentation is a key and tightly regulated process that ensures the normal development of placenta fetal growth. Preeclampsia (PE) hypertensive pregnancy-related disorder involving about 5–8% all pregnancies clinically characterized by de novo maternal hypertension proteinuria. In addition, PE are also increased oxidative stress inflammation. The NRF2/KEAP1 signaling pathway plays an important role in protecting cells against damage due to reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels. ROS activate NRF2, allowing its binding antioxidant response element (ARE) region present promoter several genes such as heme oxygenase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase superoxide dismutase neutralize ROS, damages. this review, we analyze current literature regarding preeclamptic pregnancies, discussing main cellular modulators pathway. Moreover, discuss natural synthetic compounds can regulate vivo vitro models.

Abstract Arterial occlusion-induced ischemic stroke (IS) is a highly frequent subtype. Nuclear factor erythroid 2-related 2 (NRF2) transcription that modulates antioxidant genes. Its role in IS still unelucidated. The current study focused on constructing transient middle cerebral artery occlusion (tMCAO) model for investigating the NRF2-related mechanism underlying ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury. Each male C57BL/6 mouse was injected with/with no specific NRF2 activator post-tMCAO. Changes blood–brain barrier (BBB)-associated molecule levels were analyzed using western-blotting, PCR, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence analysis. within I/R decreased at 24-h post-ischemia. activation improved brain edema, infarct volume, neurological deficits after MCAO/R. Similarly, sulforaphane (SFN) prevented down-regulated tight junction proteins occludin zonula occludens 1 (ZO-1) reduced up-regulated aquaporin 4 (AQP4) matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP9) tMCAO. Collectively, exerted critical effect preserving BBB integrity modulating ferroptosis inflammation. Because related to injury regulation following I/R, this provides potential therapeutic target throws light clinically treating IS.

Resveratrol (RES), a natural polyphenolic compound, has shown promise in enhancing skeletal muscle regeneration and metabolic function. This study aims to explore the impact of RES on after injury through regulation antioxidant capacity mitochondrial biogenesis. treatment significantly increased ratio tibialis anterior mass body weight, alongside reduced fasting glucose levels. Following cardiotoxin-induced injury, improved regeneration, characterized by greater formation new fibers better structural repair compared control. Notably, gene expression analyses demonstrated that RES-treated mice exhibited elevated levels myogenic markers, such as paired box 7 (Pax7), factor 5 (Myf5), myoblast determination protein (MyoD), Myogenin (MyoG). Concurrently, yes-associated (YAP) increased, underscoring its role regulating satellite cell activity. Transcriptomic analysis identified enriched pathways related biogenesis, with transcription factors higher DNA content mice. Furthermore, enhanced via Kelch-like ECH-associated 1 (KEAP-1)/nuclear erythroid 2-related 2 (NRF2)/heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) signaling pathway, indicated activities total capacity, Glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX), superoxidase dismutase (SOD). Collectively, these findings suggest not only promotes but also supports function defenses, positioning it food-derived pharmaceutical for targeting injury.

Resveratrol, a polyphenolic compound known for its diverse biological activities, has demonstrated multiple pharmacological effects, including anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, anti-diabetic, anti-cancer, and cardiovascular protective properties. Recent studies suggest that these effects are partly mediated through the regulation of macrophage polarization, wherein macrophages differentiate into pro-inflammatory M1 or anti-inflammatory M2 phenotypes. Our review highlights how resveratrol modulates polarization various signaling pathways to achieve therapeutic effects. For example, can activate senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) pathway inhibit signal transducer activator transcription (STAT3) sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P)-YAP axes, promoting suppressing thereby inhibiting tumor growth. Conversely, it promote suppress by NF-κB activating PI3K/Akt AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) pathways, thus alleviating inflammatory responses. Notably, effect on is concentration-dependent; moderate concentrations tend while higher may favor polarization. This concentration dependence offers new perspectives clinical treatment but also underscores necessity precise dosage control when using resveratrol. In summary, exhibits significant potential in regulating treating related diseases.

Abstract Imidacloprid (IMI) is a neonicotinoid insecticide with the highest global market share, and IMI exposure in environment can negatively affect many nontarget organisms (a general term for affected by drugs other than target organisms). Resveratrol (RSV), non‐flavonoid polyphenolic organic compound derived from peanuts, grapes, plants, has anti‐inflammatory antioxidant effects. It currently unclear how RSV protects against cell damage caused IMI. Therefore, we established an experimental model of chicken lymphocyte lines exposed to 110 μg/mL and/or 0.5 μM 24 h. According results, markedly raised intracellular reactive oxygen species levels diminished activity cellular enzymes (CAT, SOD, GPx), leading MDA accumulation decreased T‐AOC. JNK , ERK P38 essential components mitogen‐activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway, were also expressed more when was present. Additionally, resulted upregulation mitochondrial apoptosis ( Caspase 3 9 Bax Cyt‐c ) necroptosis 8 RIPK1 RIPK3 MLKL related factors expression, downregulation Bcl‐2 induction cytokine IL‐6 TNF‐α IFN‐γ expression. The combined treatment significantly reduced oxidative stress levels, inhibited MAPK alleviated IMI‐induced apoptosis, necroptosis, immune dysfunction. To summarize, antagonized dysfunction inhibiting ROS/MAPK pathway.

In this study, PC12 cells (a rat adrenal pheochromocytoma cell line) were exposed to Cobalt chloride (CoCl2) induce hypoxia. Using model, impacts on viability, proliferation, reactive oxygen species (ROS), levels lysine β-hydroxybutyrylation (Kbhb) inflammatory signaling P65 examined. addition, we explored ability resveratrol (RES) alleviate CoCl2-induced damage. RES attenuated decreases viability proliferation increase ROS production in cells. CoCl2 downregulated Kbhb cells, but alleviated effect. upregulated by 3-hydroxybutyric acid sodium could partially recover including oxidative stress, protein level P65. Our results indicate protects against modulating Kbhb, novel post-translational modification.
