Chia has a composition with potential to promote changes in the intestinal tissue that favor its functionality, morphology, and microbiota. Objective: evaluate functional properties of chia flour, hydrolyzed protein phenolics on microbiota gut health vivo. Methodology: four experimental trials were conducted. First experiment: 32 male Wistar rats received following diets (5 weeks): standard (SD), SD+chia, high-fat diet (HFD), or HFD+chia. Second 64 female fed either SD HFD (7 weeks). Then, underwent ovariectomy (OVX) while surgery without removal ovary (SHAM). After 3-week recovery period, divided into eight groups (8 SD, HFD, HFD+chia, for both OVX SHAM groups. Intestinal microbiota, short-chain fatty acids (SCFA), IgA production, pH, histomorphometry, brush border membrane functionality analyzed. systematic review was conducted according PRISMA guidelines, answer question: “How does food derived bioactive peptides can impact inflammatory mediators vivo?”. The third fourth experiments ovo. Third 45 fertile eggs (Gallus gallus) five receiving different treatments: not injected; 18MΩH20; 10mg/mL (1%); protein+106 CFU Lacticaseibacillus paracasei 106 paracasei. Fourth 27 three groups: 18MΩH 20; (1%) phenolic extract. Upon hatching, animals euthanized analysis composition, gene expression related inflammation, barrier proteins. Results: Paper 1: flour consumption increased SCFA production improved circular muscle layer. Diversity abundance bacteria affected, but richness increased. Proteins associated downregulated. 2: In rats, intake acetic butyric decreased cecum content layers crypt thickness, diversity, Ap Si. 3: group propionic acid pH cecal content, reducing concentration HFD+chia group. Nevertheless, it microbial diversity. SD+chia Si Sglt1 Pept1. 4: highlighted positive effects inflammation health. 5: downregulated Tnf-α, Ocln, Muc2, Ap, reduced Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus morphology. 6: extract Tnf-α expression, E. coli populations Paneth cell diameter, depth crypt, maintained villus height. Conclusion: be considered biological improve demonstrated fractions seed. Key words: Microbiota; Morphology; Short Chain Fatty Acids; Functionality; Intra-Amniotic Administration; paracasei; Brush Border Membrane; Ovariectomy.

Propolis is a resinous mixture produced by honeybees which has been used since ancient times for its useful properties. However, chemical composition and bioactivity may vary, depending on the geographical area of origin type tree bees use collecting pollen. In this context, research aimed to investigate total phenolic content (using Folin-Ciocalteu assay) antioxidant capacity FRAP, DPPH, ABTS assays) three black poplar (Populus nigra L.) propolis (BPP) solutions (S1, S2, S3), as well (HPLC-ESI-MSn) biological activities (effect cell viability, genotoxic/antigenotoxic properties, anti-inflammatory activity, effect ROS production) one showed highest activity (S1). The hydroalcoholic BPP solution S1 was prototype an innovative, research-type product Italian nutraceutical manufacturer. contrast, S2 S3 were conventional products purchased from local pharmacy stores. For extracts, 50 compounds, encompassing acids flavonoids, identified. summary, results interesting profile remarkable antioxidant, antigenotoxic, ROS-modulating innovative extract S1, paving way future research. vivo investigations will be possible line take, help corroborate hypothesis potential health benefits product, even stimulate further ameliorations new prototype.

Botanical drugs and probiotic supplements present safer alternative options for the prevention treatment of osteoporosis (OP). However, pathological disorders gut microbiota specific properties probiotics traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) significantly limit their therapeutic efficacy. Given favorable synergistic complementary effects between herbal medicines, a creative combination these approaches may address issue current limited A comprehensive analysis is necessary to provide detailed review potential combination, mechanisms behind synergy, scientific applications, future developments. There exists complex relationship OP, underlying regulatory are multidimensional, involving production pro-inflammatory metabolites, immune system disruption, impairment intestinal mucosal barrier. Furthermore, we analyzed connections probiotics, TCM, combined applications. We highlighted principle gain substantial organic which facilitates release active substances in increases bioavailability enhances delivery efficiency, exerts effects. Dysbiosis of the microbiota in gastrointestinal tract can induce development gynaecological tumours, particularly postmenopausal women, by causing DNA damage and alterations metabolite metabolism. also complicates cancer treatment influencing body’s immune response disrupting sensitivity to chemotherapy drugs. Therefore, it is crucial maintain homeostasis gut through effective use food components that affect its structure. Recent studies have shown polyphenols, which are likely be most important secondary metabolites produced plants, exhibit prebiotic properties. They structure synthesis metabolites. In this review, we summarise current state knowledge, focusing on impact polyphenols endometrial cancer, emphasising polyphenol consumption leads beneficial modifications microbiota.

Recent advances in microbiome research have uncovered a dynamic and complex connection between the gut lungs, known as gut-lung axis. This bidirectional communication network plays critical role modulating immune responses maintaining respiratory health. Mediated by interactions, metabolic byproducts, microbial communities both organs, this axis demonstrates how gut-derived signals, such metabolites modulators, can reach lung tissue via systemic circulation, influencing function disease susceptibility. To explore implications of connection, we conducted systematic review studies published 2001 2024 (with much nearly 60% covering period 2020-2024), using keywords "gut-lung axis", "microbiome", "respiratory disease", "immune signaling". Studies were selected based on their relevance to mechanisms, impact dysbiosis, microbiota diseases. provides comprehensive overview axis, emphasizing its importance regulating inflammatory linked Understanding intricate pathway opens new avenues for microbiota-targeted therapeutic strategies, which could offer promising interventions diseases like asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, even infections. Abstract Background Recently researches have reported that miRNA and its target genes are associated with osteoporosis. MiRNAs/mRNA axis might be an potential diagnostic marker for Purposes The aim of this study is to explore the mRNA markers by bioinformatics method clinical analysis. Patients Methods expression profiles were obtained from GSE74209, GSE64433 GSE115773 in Gene Omnibus (GEO). GSE100609. Wayne intersection used different expressed miRNAs (DE-miRs). Select highest Fold Change subsequent research. Screening using TargetScan miRDB tools. GO KEGG analyses (TGs) function performed. Validate selected TGs We collected female patients femural intertrochanteric fractures July 1, 2023 October 31, 2023. Patient's bone marrow data collected. MiRNA differentially verified through RT-qPCR. All subjected Shapiro-Wilk test. Using Pearson or Spearman test detect correlation between various indicators, then incorporating indicators related density into multiple linear regression equations. Partial analysis was analyze final density. Results A total 140 DE-miRs identified high low women. Set fold change “>1” ultimately include 5 miRNAs. miR-595 (highest |log2 FC|) as subject 3542 targeted mRNAs predicted 362 miRDB. 337 intersected, which mainly enriched nucleus. Only Cldnd1 GSE100609 dataset. found highly mass, while gene downregulated. There a strong collinearity Cldnd1. Further showed Conclusions These suggest downstream factor miR-595. miR-595/Cldnd1 independent risk decreased mass.
