Background: Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a serious psychiatric disease that occurs after traumatic experience, such as cancer diagnosis.Hope regarded significant factor impacting the experience and outcomes of therapy.Aim: This study aimed to explore relation between post-traumatic disorders hope level among patients.Subjects Method:Desigh: A descriptive correlational research design was utilized.Subjects: The subjects included 183 patients; Setting; carried out from inpatients department at Sohag oncology center.Tools: Two tools were utilized collect data which were; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders Scale, Herth Hope Index, In addition personal clinical sheet.Results: More than two-thirds participants(67.2%)had moderate PTSD, while more half patients (54.1%) had hope, according findings . This study aims to elucidate the incidence of cancer-related post-traumatic stress (PTS) and fluctuations in anxiety depression levels before one year after laryngectomy. A prospective longitudinal was conducted on 97 consecutive patients scheduled undergo laryngectomy (total or pharyngolaryngectomy) at a single university hospital between 2007 2022. Background/Objectives: Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can develop after exposure to real or perceived threats life and is characterized by symptoms including intrusive thoughts, hyperarousal, emotional numbness. Background: Psychological distress is common among patients with cancer, severe consequences on their quality of life. Currently, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy considered an evidence-based treatment for PTSD, recent studies also showed its effectiveness anxiety depression. Methods: A search was conducted peer-reviewed articles about "EMDR" "cancer patients" following electronic databases: PubMed, MEDLINE, Science Direct, Google Scholar, Cochrane library.
